Open up your door frame and make sure there’s no dust on the emboss.
Take a small paint brush and smear the dust onto the frame.
Make sure the frame is smooth and don’t get too rough with the paintbrush.
Spray paint the frame with the brush and let it dry.
Take the frame and paint it with the same paintbrush, making sure it’s smooth.
After a few coats, you can now open the door frame up and use your bare hand to scratch off the dust.

Check the doorframe with your finger tips and check that there’s nothing on the door that could cause a snag.
